Graduation 2025

On 9 August 2025, the big day arrived. A total of around 270 journeymen and women from 17 guilds in Osnabrück were released from their apprenticeships. Among them were our two former apprentices, Emily and Milad.

We attended the ceremony at the Alando Ballhaus and were delighted to hear that our two apprentices had performed particularly well.

Emily not only received a great certificate and her journeyman’s certificate, but was also awarded second prize in the ‘Die Gute Form’ design competition for her journeyman’s piece. Her oak dressing table, named ‘Natürlich schön’ (Naturally Beautiful), not only impressed us, but also won over the jury.

Milad also received his journeyman’s certificate and, with his excellent report card, he also received the best rating of the entire year with 95% for his journeyman’s piece called ‘Lebensblick’ (View of Life) – a standing display case made of elm wood! All in all, this is a more than impressive achievement, as Milad came to Germany from Iran only five years ago and could not speak a word of German at the time.

Unfortunately, we have to say goodbye to Emily, as she will soon be starting another apprenticeship as a paramedic, for which we wish her every success. We are delighted to welcome another journeyman to our team in Milad. We are very happy that you are staying with us.

And while we’re on the subject of congratulations, we would also like to congratulate Marlin, the son of our boss Jasper, who completed his training at the Vielstädte joinery in Ostercappeln, on passing his exam.

We are very proud of you and wish you all the best for your future!
